He completed his postgraduate specialist studies in Dental Implantology at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Zagreb. He continued his education by attending congresses around the world and hands-on courses under the mentorship of many world experts. He expresses a special interest in surgery, implantology, full arch protocols, augmentation and rehabilitation of hard and soft tissues.

After completing the Ankilos implantology training at the Dental Academy in Vienna, he began intensively dealing with implantology. The work in this area is improved by education for advanced implantology methods and full arch rehabilitation with pterygoid, transnasal, transsinus and zygoma implants in Slovenia and Brazil, with prof. Ph.D. Fabio Guerra.

He is a member of the Croatian Society for Maxillofacial, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Head and Neck, the Croatian Society for Dental Implantology, and the Croatian Medical Association. He is the owner and founder of Kinkela Dental in Rijeka.
