He graduated in Dentistry at Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, with an experimental thesis – Zygomatic Implantology for the Rehabilitation of Oncological Patients Previously Treated with Maxillary Resection. Being very dedicated to the subject, he became a Master of Science in Oral Surgery and Implantology. He attended various theoretical-practical courses and congresses, both in Italy and worldwide. He shared his knowledge and experience on zygomatic implantology and full-arch implant rehabilitation with current loading (using nasal, transsinus, pterygoid and transnasal implants) as a speaker and mentor for patients and at CadaverLab trainings. He is a lecturer at the University Postgraduate Studies in Oral Rehabilitation with Zygomatic Implants, Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan. He has treated more than 500 cases of severe maxillary atrophy, in his private practice in Italy.
