Dr. Barreiros is a leading expert in the field of oral surgery, prosthetics and maxillofacial surgery, with extensive experience and significant academic achievements. As a researcher at UNIPRO and assistant professor at the Department of Prosthetics and Oral Rehabilitation at IUCS/CESPU, his expertise covers a wide range of dentistry.

 

He completed his master's degree in oral surgery (FMDUP, Porto) and oral rehabilitation and prosthetics (IUCS/CESPU). He specialized in maxillofacial surgery in Portugal.

 

He further advanced his knowledge through postgraduate studies in orthognathic surgery and orthognathic maxillofacial surgery and trauma at UNICAMP in Brazil. He also completed postgraduate studies in oncological surgery and reconstruction (SHRU, India), as well as periodontology at the prestigious Harvard Medical School. He is currently pursuing a PhD in medicine and translational research science at UB in Barcelona.
